The amazing Aaron Kwok is a multitallented star from the 1990’s to presen.He can sing, act and dance. He was appointed as the Canton Pop Four Heavenly Kings with Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau and Leon Lai.Aaron was generally known to have the best image among the four heavenly kings in 1990s Kwok’s on stage dancing inspired by Michael Jackson. While most of his songs are in the dance-pop genre, he has experimented few with rock and roll, ballad, rock, R&B, soul, electronica and traditional Chinese Music.

Background
Aaron was graduated from St. Joseph’s College in Hong Kong. Then after graduated from secondary school, he worked as Junior Staff in King Fook Gold & Jewellery Co.Ltd. His father owned a small gold retail store and hope that Kwok can gain some experience in gold business and someday he can hand his family business over to Kwok. His father also minded if no one from Kwok’s brother will hand over the business then he won’t agree Aaron join entertainment industry like now.


Career journey Aaron joined a dancer training course at TVB when he was 19 years old , where his talent in dancing was immediately recognized. Then he performed in music videos and variety shows for other singers. Then in 1987 he was transferred to the acting department of talent training course and became a TV actor, where he got minor role in TVB dramas.

Music
Aaron began his music career with three mandapop albums including famous song “Loving You Forever” to accompany and accomplish his dance moves. He returned to Hong Kong in 1991 to do Cantopop after got success in Taiwan. In few years he reached high popularity and was soon ranked as one of the “Four Heavenly Kings” and he became one of the most prominent pop stars in Hong Kong and Asia. He won his first major awards with the 1991 Jade Solid Gold Top 10 Awards and 1991 RTHK Top 10 Gold Songs Awards and then he would win a major award in every year until 2001. As solo performer as Singer, his concert tickets were sold out in Hong Kong, mainland China, United States, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries total over 200 to date. In 1999, he won first “Asia Pacific Most Popular Artist” award. Aaron had gained many Music awards and has played more than 200 concerts in which all sold out, ranging from Hong Kong, China and other countries.

Dance
His career as Dancer started while he entered the music industry in 1991.Then, he was knows to have won a prestigious “Top Ten Hong Kong Dance” award. His dancing accomplishments are also matched with stage displays. On February 17, 2008 he held “Aaron Kwok De Show Reel Extension Live” concert at the Hong Kong Asia World Arena with the largest revolving stage measured 10m x 9.44m and created a new entry for the Guinness Book of World Records.


Acting
Aaron started with involved in TV commercials and began his acting career with TVB series “Rise of Genghis Khan” and in 1988 series “Twilight of a Nation” about Taiping Rebellion. Aaron got one noticeable role as a special agent with Athena Chu in 1996 TVB drama series. In 2003, Aaron took a part in charitable work and gained the “Ten Most Outstanding Young Person” award. Aaron also starred in various movies. Aaron won the “Best Leading Actor” award for his role in the Divergence film on November 13, 2005 at Taiwan’s 42nd Golden Horse awards ceremony. It was the first Golden Horse nomination and had beat veteran Hong Kong star Tony Leung Ka-Fai to win the honour. His role in “After This Our Exile” film made Aaron won again the Best Actor Award at 43rd Golden Horse awards on November 26, 2006. He became only the second actor in the history of Golden Horse Awards to win the Best Actor Award consecutively.


Hobby
He is known as a car fanatic and has a large collection of notable cars. Some of his collection include the Ferrari F50, F512M, F355 GTS, F360 Modena, Lamborghini Diablo SE30, Mercedes-Benz SL600, Porsche 911 Turbo. Other cars include the Enzo Ferrari, a Carbon version Pagani Zonda F, Lamborghini Murciélago, Gallardo, Porsche 996 GT3. Kwok has been known as a collector of sports cars as well as an amateur of motor racing. He participated in a Ferrari F355 race at the Macau Grand Prix, a Formula Campus charity race. Other notable participations include the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, where he raced with a Porsche 911 GT3.
