Cecilia Cheung - biography


Cecilia Cheung Pak Zhi is a Hong Kong actress and cantopop singer. She was born in Hong Kong 24 May 1980. Her father is Chinese and her mother is Chinese-half British. Her parents divorced when she was fourteen years old and live with her aunty in Australia. Then she was educated in Australia, so she’s quite good in English, also Chinese and Cantonese. She has an elder half-sister Dai Pek Chi, two younger brothers and a younger half-brother from her father’s side.

Cecilia was starting her debut in entertainment which discovered after Cecilia’s appearance in a TV soft drink commercial in 1998. She was talent-spotted by Chu Wing Lung, who became her manager until now. Cecilia’s parent was worried to allow Cecilia entering the entertainment industry, but Chu promised taking care Cecilia and ensure that she will be in good.
Cecilia first film was “King of Comedy” debut in comedian Stephen Chow’s 1999 Chinese New Year. Her role was a young night club hostess who experiences an unhappy love affair.
Then she was nominated as “Best New Actress” in Hong Kong awards. Then follow by “Fly Me to Polaris”. Then Cecilia launched her singing career with her first Cantonpop album “Any Weather”.
In 2003 Cecilia won award for Best Actress at the 2004 Hong Kong Film Awards from her role in Derek Yee’s romantic drama “Lost in Time”. Her role was a young woman who lost her fiancĂ© in a traffic accident which left her as a grieving single mother struggling to make ends meet. Read More...

Yoon Eun Hye - career journey




Yoon Eun Hye (born October 3, 1984) is a South Korean actress, singer, model and entertainer. Her first debut was a member of girl group, “Baby V.O.X” (1999-2005). In February 2007, she was graduated from “Kyung Hee Cyber University” and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Tourism Management in addition for acting and singing.

Then she moved on to acting and became popular from her acting in drama “Princess Hours”, as well as “The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince” drama.

Yoon Eun-Hye played a cameo role on MBC's sitcom Nonstop 4, where she alongside MC Mong, before moving on to became a regular guest on the variety show X-Man on SBS. While on X-Man, she became involved in a romantic scandal with popular K-pop singer Kim Jong Kook which received coverage from a local newspaper. Although "X-Man" raised her public profile, she left the show a year later in order to pursue acting.

Eun Hye also played Kim Jong Kook's love interest in his music video "Saying You Love Me" which was released in July 2006.
Also in 2006, Eun Hye got her first major acting role in Korean popular TV series drama “Princess Hours” (also known as “Goong”). At the beginning, fans of Goong had questioned her acting ability, which raised any controversy.

Average ratings got in the beginning and then continuing with leading to an extension of the first season (from 20 to 24 episodes). After her success of her first drama, Eun Hye had been continuing in other drama such as The Vineyard Man. At the beginning this drama got low ratings due to strong competition from MBC 45th anniversary drama “Jumong”. But finale, this drama could get increasing ratings.

In July 2007 Eun Hye’s second lead role was as an employee Go Eun Chan at “The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince”. Her role was a master of Taekwondo with her short haircut and tomboyish ways, she is presumed to be a boy by the shop’s owner, thus leading to romantic complications. This drama reached higher ratings than “Princess Hours”.

Due to her success of Coffee Prince, Eun Hye got more fans not only from Korea, but also from Singapore, China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, etc. She had recently visited Japan to meet her fans. Her popularity can also be seen in the Korean entertainment as many conglomerates are vying to get Eun Hye to be their product icon, where she was later dub as the “CF Queen” in Korea.

In 2009, Eun Hye was starting drama TV series “My Fair lady”, after two years after her successful drama “Coffee Prince”. Then Eun Hye got many awards from her marvelous acting in drama TV series.


In 2010, Yoon Eun Hye featured in The Basic House Spring 2010 catalog with Kim Hyun Joong of SS501.She also endorsed Cass Beer with 2PM, releasing a drama music video on February 8.

Crystal Liu Yi Fei - Career journey

Crystal Liu Yi Fei was born in Wu Han, Hu Bei, China August 25, 1987, her birth name is An Feng. She currently has known as China's most popular artist and also known in Asian region. She is popular with TV drama “Return of the Condor Heroes” which was the most viewed TV drama in 2006.

She was starting modeling since 8 years old. Crystal was found potential since she was a kid, she can sing, dance and play piano. Her photos are still found on some streets in Wu Han when she spent her childhood.
At 10 years, when Crystal’s parent divorced, she left China to USA with her mother and back to China in 2002 where she was accepted in to Beijing Film Academy. She was one of the youngest students at the academy. Her potential talented that she had derived from her mother as famous dancer and stage performer while her father as a professor of university. At that time she also got her first TV Drama “Story of a Noble Family” (Jin Fen Shi Jia). She had some small role at this drama but people started noticing Crystal Liu.

Then Crystal got role as a leading as Wang Yu Yan in “Demi-Gods, Semi-Devils” a Wu Xia drama based on the legendary of Jin Yong same titled novel. Crystal proved that she has a potential skill in acting even she was so young while she got this leading role. She had maturity while she was so young beyond her age. She made proud herself and showed that no mistake that she played this role. Then people more gave attention on her.

Her successful at playing role in TV Dramas made her a star in Love of May movies in 2003 and The Love Winner in 2004. She more and more kept working at that year too she became a superstar in China because of her acting in “Chinese Paladin”. Chinese Paladin or “The Legend of Fairy Sword” was adapted from a popular RPG game and both the TV drama and game were super hit in China. Crystal played the leading role ‘Ling Er’ and Ling-Er was used as her nickname by Chinese fans as well.

In 2006, Crystal acted as “Xiao Long Nu” in CCTV’s TV Drama series “Return of the Condor Heroes, another Jin Yong’s Wu Xia trilogy novel adopted production. This series was a popular hit in Asia, from China to Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and South East Asia. This series also brought her name as international superstar and one of the most popular young actresses.
Crystal had been learning singing and dancing too. She signed contract with Sony Music in August 2005 and learning dancing in Japan and China since she had released her first Japanese single “Mayonaka no Door” in July 2006 then released her Chinese album in September 2006.

In 2007 early, Crystal decided to break from entertainment to pursue her study in USA but this plan was interrupted because of a great chance to star alongside Jackie Chan and Jet Li in “The King of Kungfu” movie. Then she took the role on that movie and pending her first plan to go to USA. And she became more popular as international superstar. In her young moment, rumor said that she can be the next fame after Zhang Zi Yi in international region. There’s no doubt if young and energic actress can reach popular beyond their youngest age while they can prove with the potential and qualify skill.

In 2008 Crystal acted as Golden Sparrow in “The Forbidden Kingdom”, an orphan seeking revenge against her parent’s killer. Her acting in this movie made the William Morris Agency based in U.S paid attention to her. She became the second actress to join in company following Zhang Zi Yi. The image of Golden Sparrow was praised by Jackie Chan. The Hollywood blockbuster prepared the way for her to break into international circle.
In 2010, Crystal acts in Wang Lee Hom’s movie “Lian Ai Tong Gao” (Love Announcement) in Romance, Musical and comedy genre. Her appearance in this movie was recommended by Jackie Chan.
