Song Hye Kyo, South Korean model and actress was born on 22 November 1981.Starting her debut by winning the Grand Prize in model search in Sun Kyung Smart, a school uniform and starring in a Sunday morning drama Happy Morning (KBS, 1996) and she stared in many dramas including All In, Autumn Fairy Tale (Endless Love) KBS, 2000 with Song Seung Hun and Won Bin that rose her name throughout Asia. Due to her popularity she can be seen frequently on advertisements when she is not acting. There are stories at birth, when Song was in sickness, parents and the doctor had given up, but the miracle came when Song suddenly healthy. That's why his parents registered his birth date on 26 February 1982 when he declared safe.
Her name was sticking up when she act with Lee Byung Hun in All In. Then she became more popular with her acting in Full House with Rain. Then after her popularity in Full House, she starred a movie My Girl and I, which was critically panned by audience and critics alike.After 2 years, she returned to act in her second film, the movie-version of Hwang Jin-i, which released in 2007 but unfortunately cannot penetrate through box office even had great promotion.
In last 2008, Song also starred together with fellow Korean actor Hyun Bin, in mini series “The World They Live In” which bring her dating with him after the filming.
In 2008 Cannes Festival, Director John Woo announced that Song will be starring in his network 1949 which started filming at the end of 2008 and aims to release in 2010, joining Taiwanese actor Chang Chen.In 2010 in upcoming movie Camellia will opposite with Kang Dong Won and The Grand Master with Tony Leung in Wang Kar Wai film with planning release on next year. And also will appear in historical film drama “Zhao’s Orphan” by Chinese Director, Chen Kaige. She diligently practiced Chinese language and martial art to complete filming.
